This KS3 symmetry worksheet comprises three different versions in an excel file. These cover finding lines of symmetry, identifying the order of rotational symmetry or both together. Each sheet uses the same, basic, 2D shapes, both polygons and shapes with curved sides. The final tab contains the answers. Each worksheet can be printed off for students to use.

For extra support for students with low attainment, the line symmetry sheet could be printed with the gridlines visible, using the 'view' menu at top of the page. Alternatively, students could be given a second copy so they can cut out the shapes and rotate or fold.
