10 ways to build relationships with students remotely

One of the most difficult aspects of remote teaching and learning is social isolation, for students and teachers alike. From straightforward feedback to working brunches, here are 10 simple and engaging ways to help you and your students foster relationships with one another while teaching and learning online.

Here's an example tip from this resource:
Interactive Bitmojis. Create a Bitmoji classroom with interactive elements for students to click through to assignments, documents and websites. Students could create their own Bitmoji avatars too, which is especially useful to foster a feeling of virtual connection if your school’s safeguarding rules require students to turn off their cameras during live online lessons.

Some good ideas that I will try. I was especially interested in the Bitmoji idea BUT there are privacy issues around that. I'm not sure it would be compatible with schools' IT and safeguarding policies... would like to hear from anyone who has done this, how did it work etc. Thanks.
