Building resilience

Help your students better understand what resilience is, why they need it and how they can foster it in themselves. This resource includes a fact sheet, worksheet questions and answers. It's designed for use in tutor time, PSHE lessons or to support individual students.

Is resilience about how you think?
Mental wellbeing is an important foundation for becoming more resilient. Choosing how to interpret things is also key. Healthy coping strategies include trying to find some good even in a negative situation and becoming more of a ‘realistic optimist’.
