Area of a triangle

A PowerPoint presentation for lower KS3 on the area of a triangle, with a noughts and crosses game.

Students can play the game in pairs or groups but it was created as a whole class game where each team claims a square by calculating the area of the triangle inside. The central square is the most difficult.

It could be used as a starter of plenary.
