Coordinates and shapes

A resource that links coordinates and 2D shapes. It uses a standard x-y grid and a grid inclined at 60 degrees. Students are asked to identify equilateral, isosceles and right-angled triangles as well as parallelograms and trapezia. They compare the shapes formed using the same coordinates on the two different grids.

Aimed at KS3 but could be used as a starter for foundation GCSE in KS4.
