Student activity

Students are given a selection of simple straight-line graphs, each labelled with a letter. They need to identify the equations of the graphs in order to crack the code and reveal the secret message.

The code asks them to communicate back to 'base' by forming a human graph.

All the linear graphs are either horizontal, vertical or have a gradient of 1.

This is a really fun way to get students engaged with learning how to recognise equations of straight lines.
