Scrambled Maths

Scrabble and maths combine in this set of starter activities from Teachit.

Three sets of numbered scrabble-style tiles are included, with integers, fractions and decimals respectively plus an extra blank copy for teachers to add their own values.

Seven suggested activities are provided, where students have to use the tiles to produce words by completing calculations with their given values.

The PowerPoint contains macros to allow for a random number generator on slides 5 and 6.
