One of our series of Practical maths activities, developed during Coronavirus (Covid-19) lockdown, for KS3-4 to get students thinking about the maths involved in everyday home-life activities. They are suitable for all ages and abilities, families can easily get involved and students will produce a diverse selection of work to hand in.
The first part of the task of the activity is practical: make an origami rabbit! The second part is to think: what maths is involved in this activity? The third part is to then ponder, research and answer a range of questions, both in the resource and of their own, on various topics, graded in difficulty.
