Tiling a bathroom floor

An investigation into the number of tiles needed to cover a floor, with measurements given in centimetres and metres. A deceptively difficult challenge as a cut tile can be used to fill more than one gap!

This will be really useful for my S1 class as I have one boy who usually finishes way ahead of the rest. I'm hoping he will not get the right answer the first time on the extension so he learns to think before he writes!
