20 home learning ideas for maths teachers during Coronavirus (COVID-19)

A collection of ideas to ease your remote learning planning and help add some variety to the home working activities for your students to keep them engaged and learning.

Sample ideas:

Global learning. Gapminder opens up the world and blasts stereotypes using the power of statistics. Watch Ted talks, take the Gapminder test and find out how positive the future really does look with the documentary Don’t panic – end poverty.

Add some challenge. The UK Mathematics Trust is home of the Maths challenge and has lots of past maths challenge papers on its site, or you could try Nrich and ask students to complete some of their many activities and problems at home.
